St. Mary's Guild
The Guild was founded in 1899 and has been an important part of the life of the church ever since. The Guild maintains an ongoing project, Heart Bears, which provides small hand made teddy bears to children seen in the Emergency Room and to pediatric in-patients at Mena Regional Health System. Over 2,000 bears have been distributed since the project began in 2001.
In addition the Guild holds a fall bazaar. All funds raised by these activities go to support community outreach.
St. Mary's Guild meets with a salad supper the third Wednesday of each month at 5:30 PM. Heart Bear Workshops are held the fourth Thursday of each month at 1:00 PM. Both meetings are held in the Parish Hall.
